FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The SGSESA deeply regrets to announce the untimely demise of our dear classmate, exscholar and colleague, MILINE NAIVANAWALU (pictured) fondly known to most as MILS or MILI. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mili's family especially her young son, Benji, during this trying time. God be with you and Rest in Peace Mili !
The SGSESA will present its i reguregu on Thursday 4th November 2010. Exscholars, classmates and friends are invited to be part of the delegation.
We will all meet at Daniel Whippy's residence at 4 Milne Rd (off Rt Sukuna Rd) at 6:00pm on thursday 4 November to collect our soli and mats before proceeding to Makoi where the funeral gathering is being held. All are asked to come in their SGS Jubilee outfits (ie. kalavata). Ladies are requested to bring a mat, if possible.
Church Service: 10:00am on Saturday 6 November at the Nasova Methodist Church, Nasese

POST REUNION NEWS
Thank you to all those who travelled from far and near to be part of the Jubilee celebrations. It was truely an event that took Suva by storm, from Day 1 during the march through Suva city to Day 8 the grand finale, the Black Tie Event. A big vinaka vakalevu to all the sub-committees in Fiji and abroad for supporting the Executive Committee and making the event a success.
Yes there were hiccups along the way and during the occassion but as true Grammarians we expressed our views and opinions. Rather than holding onto the grudge during the week, we moved on and took the opportunity to mingle with the old and the young Grammarians brushed that aside. Thank you again everyone and we hope to keep all informed on up-coming events:

GRAMMARIANS ARE HERE !
The banners are up in Suva city, the marquees have been set-up in SGS grounds and Grammarians are arriving into the country and making their way to the lions den, Veiuto ! Suva city, the Grammarians are in town for the SGS Golden Jubilee celebrations from 24-31 July 2010. On Friday (23/7) at 2:00pm exscholars are meeting at SGS to present their i sevusevu to the current school administration. Then Saturday (24/7) at 8:00am is the march through Suva city beginning at the Suva Flea market. ALL ARE WELCOME for this is just the beginning of more exciting events to take place during the week. ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES
Online registration closed on Friday 23 July 2010. Total number of exscholars registered is currently 1255 and this does not include those who registered from 16-22 July 2010. Registry to be updated and watch this space for a breakdown of registration per decade.
The Black Tie Event tickets available and limited number is now available.
SGS JUBILEE ONE STOP SHOP
Registration and purchase of Black Tie Event tickets can now be made at the One Stop Shop at MHCC Groundfloor. The booth is open from 12-6:00pm from 5-13 July 2010.
The Club 1500 Lottery Tickets and jubilee material are also available at the shop.
